Classes

Vinyasa

A Vinyasa practice focuses on connecting with breath,  synchronized with movement. It consists of dynamic sequencing and sun salutation to produce heat in the body to cleanse, standing poses to bring strength, balance, flexibility and transformation. Seated postures to get grounded, calm and relax.

Yin

Yin yoga provides balance and harmony to your active (yang) practice and busy life. The class focuses on long-held poses (asanas) combined with breath work (pranayama) and meditation. Yin yoga goes beneath the muscular layer to target the dense connective tissues of the body. Suitable for all levels.

Bhakti Vinyasa

A Vinyasa yoga practice where mantra, meditation and philosophy are organically woven into the class. Bhakti is an expression of devotional sentiment held in the heart, based on compassion and devotion to Divinity. This dynamic, fluid vinyasa practice will awaken one's natural Bhakti, or devotion, within.

Restorative

Enjoy a simple unwinding using blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters to support the body. Allow gravity to do most of the work as we hold each asana for a while.  Relaxing and letting go is a necessary art for all.

Lunch Flow

Carve out an hour in the middle of the day to destress. An active and fun creative yoga flow, keeping you calm but energized for the rest of the work day.

Massage Ball Yoga

Come roll around on a massage ball and release built up stress in the muscles. This class targets specific muscle groups using deep stretching and the addition of massage balls to access muscle tension. This class is the perfect class to end your evening.

Core Confidence

An hour of vinyasa practice that focuses on connecting with the breath and synchronizing it with movement. Dynamic sequencing and sun salutations produce cleansing heat in the body. Standing poses bring strength, balance, flexibility and transformation. Seated postures get you grounded, calm and relaxed. Suitable for all levels.

Meditation

Meditation is a practice in which an individual trains and focuses the mind, learning to simply acknowledge its content without identifying with it. Learning practices of mindfulness empowers one to become less reactive and decreases stress and anxiety. It allows one to find greater peace, self awareness and confidence, ultimately forging a connection to the divine within the heart.

Kirtan

Kirtan is a form of sacred mantras, chanted and accompanied by musical instruments and rhythmic drumming. It is one of the fastest-growing genres of music, fusing ancient chants and songs with infectious grooves and catchy melodies. This sacred mantra music is uplifting to the consciousness and can bring one to deep states of meditation and inner joy. Everyone is invited to participate by singing, chanting, dancing and playing instruments.

When we lift our voices in song together, recognizing each other beyond limitations, we invite a kind of tectonic shift globally, socially and within our personal lives.

We have regular kirtan events monthly with various artists, food, dancing, and sacred community bonding.

Satsang

Sat means truth in Sanskrit, and sanga means to come together. Satsang is our weekly gathering to discuss spiritual truths, based on Divinity, the Self and how to integrate greater conscious values into one's everyday life.

Every Thursday at 6:45 p.m. we will have an open discussion on the philosophy of yoga, combining Sanskrit mantra recitation with ancient scriptural teachings. Allow the wisdom of the yogis and sages from the past to come alive and be made accessible to you, the urban seeker, explorer and practitioner.

This session is free and open to the public, with no registration necessary.
